Before
being launched into the world of TV and publishing, Jason worked
in the motor industry for 16 years, 6 years of which were spent
training manufacturers and dealers and making presentations to live
audiences. Born and brought up in Cornwall, Jason began selling
cars in 1986, working for a local dealer.
In 1989 he moved to London and for the next six years sold many
marques of cars including Rover, Citroen, Mercedes Benz and Porsche.
Twice he was National Salesman of the Year for different marques.
In late 1996 Jason joined an international firm of automotive specialist
management consultants, Mitac, who were advising many of the leading
motor manufacturers and dealers worldwide.
Jason was one of their top consultants
and over the next 6 years, worked with a number of household name
car manufacturers such as Audi, Citroen, Harley Davidson, Jaguar,
LDV and Porsche on a range of projects, including;
- New vehicle launches – presentations
to over 1,000 delegates at a time
- Sales Techniques training and Product
Knowledge training – more than 200 courses
- Developed one of the first and most sophisticated
CD Rom based interactive training courses in the motor industry
- Wrote and delivered motivational training
for worldwide sales conferences
- Delivery of Management training for groups
of delegates from 10-150
- Delivery of a change management
programme globally, working in Australia, New Zealand, The Far
East, The Middlle East, South Africa and South America
Jason also has a particular interest in psychology
and links this to all of his work. He is a motivational speaker
who also understands the commercial world and can make clear and
powerful links between the content that he is required to put
over in his presentations and the needs of his audience.
Jason has appeared on many TV channels, including
BBC2 (Top Gear), ITV, Granada Men and Motors and UKPeople. Since
2002 he has written a weekly used car column in the Sunday Times
Motoring section and is a regular contributor to many other journals.
In 2003 Jason formed his own production company,
Jason Dawe Productions Ltd to develop television, media and automotive
commercial concepts, one of which is Jason’s Deal Exchange.
Jason is married with 2 daughters and now
lives on the outskirts of Bath, in Somerset.

Penny
Mallory became National Ladies Champion Rally Driver in 1993 and
went on to be one of the country’s top rally drivers and team
captains. She followed this by becoming a precision stunt driver,
playing both ‘Nicole and Papa’ in the famous Renault
Clio commercials.
She beat stiff
opposition to become the only female presenter on Channel Four's,
long running television series, 'Driven'. She has become one of
the most popular presenters in CH 4 polls and viewing figures
are not less than 2.2 million. ‘Driven’ was the first
motoring programme to knock ‘Top Gear’ off the air
after 21 years!
Alongside ‘Driven’, Penny presented
Channel 4’s critically acclaimed ‘World Rally Championship’
as well as the ‘Le Mans and Beginners Guide’. Apart
from these flagship shows, Penny has presented the much repeated
Channel Four series ‘Accident Black Spots’ and is
a regular on GMTV.
Penny was the first woman in the world to
qualify to drive a World Rally car. She raced a Ford Focus WRC
in her first rally for five years, the Rally of Great Britain-
the last round of the World Championship. She was the first woman
over the finishing line and won 4 awards including the Ladies
and Journalists Trophies.
Penny is a respected journalist and has had
her own column in design magazine Intra, was part of Woman’s
Own Hit Squad, has written articles for various publications like
Mother and Baby Magazine, BMW Magazine and 4Car. Guest features
on TV programmes include writing and presenting her own strand
'Dashboard Divas' for This Morning (ITV). ‘Watch Dog’
BBC TV, Britain’s Worst Roads’ BBC TV, ‘Through
The Keyhole’ BBC TV, ‘I Love Father Christmas’
BBC TV, ‘Baby, Baby’ on Carlton and Paul Ross’

The Car Show (Channel 5), 'Simply The Best' (ITV) and BBC's 'Top

Penny spend much of her time as an after
dinner speaker, events host and motivational speaker.
Although Penny is an expert on cars and
is passionate about all aspects of motorsport and engineering, she
has trained in design and social work too. Working for some years
as a graphic designer in advertising and as a sound engineer in
a recording studio, areas of interest also cover furniture renovation,
painting, DIY - in fact anything that is creative and practical.
