Over the past 12 months the car has undergone a nut and bolt refurbishment of the rear chassis, everything was stripped off back to the chassis, including, exhaust, drive shafts, rear calipers, trailing arms, rear axle/torsion tube, dampers, gearbox, gearbox support bracket, heat shields, fuel tank, basically everything that could be removed including the fuel filler neck and fuel vapour system.

The underside of the chassis was checked for corrosion and apart from some minor surface rust all was good. The surface rust was wire brushed, treated with Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80, then primed with Isopon Zinc 182, then coated with Bilt Hamber Dynax UC wax.

The car has benefitted from new genuine Porsche fuel lines, new fuel pump, filters, seals, new brake pipes and many new additional genuine Porsche parts like nuts and bolts, brackets etc. Where possible stainless steel fixings have been used(grade 80 where strength was needed).
